Lisanne Vanhommerig is a dutch lawyer specializing in international and European employment and labor law, as well as privacy & data law. Her diverse practice areas provide her with a fresh perspective on each case she handles.
Lisanne’s career journey began with the completion of a Master’s degree in Labor and Corporate Law, during which she conducted research on false self-employment and privacy issues in online commerce. This foundational knowledge laid the groundwork for her subsequent roles in the legal field. She gained valuable experience working for a large insurance company in Cologne, Germany, where she immersed herself in the world of legal tech and social media. This experience allowed her to develop her skills in IT, data, and privacy. Her commitment to innovation and legal technology then led her to contribute to the development of a digital employment law tool at the University of Amsterdam. This tool aimed at providing quick and clear answers to both employees and employers. This experience underscored the importance of accessible legal resources in today’s digital age and inspired her to continue seeking innovative solutions to legal challenges.
While working at LexQuire, Lisanne had the opportunity to deepen her expertise in international, European and cross-border employment and privacy law while serving a diverse clientele spanning multiple jurisdictions. Whether advising clients on compliance issues, negotiating contracts, or representing them in litigation, she is always committed to provide strategic solutions and achieve the best possible outcome. She advises in the Dutch, German and English language and litigates under Dutch law.
Lisanne is always open to connecting with fellow legal professionals, potential clients, and collaborators who share her passion for international and cross-border employment law. Please feel free to reach out to her for discussions or collaboration opportunities.
