André Janssen

Prof Janssen is professor at Radboud University in Nijmegen. He specialises in civil law, particularly in the areas of contracts and torts, international sales law, European private law, comparative law, legal tech and artificial intelligence and law.

He is editor-in-chief of the European Review of Private Law (ERPL) and an editorial board member of the International Arbitration Law Review (IALR). Prof Janssen has over 170 scholarly publications to his name and has lectured worldwide for many years. He is often involved in arbitrations and provides expert advice both nationally and internationally. As of 2024, prof. Janssen is counsel to the legal academic research department of LexQuire.
