Agnieszka Lewestam

Agnieszka is a polish legal professional with a strong academic and practical background. Her areas of expertise include civil law, data protection, corporate compliance and private international law. With a combination of academic excellence, practical legal experience and international perspective, she offers a well-rounded and insighful approach to complex legal challenges in both national and cross-border contexts. 

She earned her Master`s degree in ‘Law and International Relations’ from the University of Wrocław and is currently pursuing a Phd in ‘Legal Sciences’. Her doctoral dissertation focuses on the applicable law in the context of unnamed contracts. She has gained extensive professional experience in reputable law firms in Wrocław, held a management position at one of the largest banks in Poland regarding GDPR and banking secrecy issues. Furthermore, she served as a research assistant at the University of Wrocław. 

Agnieszka is actively involved in the academic community. She has presented her research at numerous national and international scientific conferences and was a team member of the EU-funded research project IC2BE- Informed Choices in Cross-Border Enforcement. She is a scholarship holder of the Programme in European Private Law for Postgraduates (PEPP), a prestigious international program for outstanding PhD candidates, conducting advanced research in European private law.
