LexQuire Tax & Law has been pleased to assist the GOBO-Group and its Dutch subsidiary Wijsen Logistics in the acquisition of Cargofoor Maastricht. Cargofoor is particularly well known for its tanker transports to the Balkans.
The GOBO-Group (originated and based in Lanaken, Belgium) will take over Cargofoor’s operations, staff and vehicles as of the first of April 2023. The deal was signed by parties in early March. After this acquisition, GOBO-Group will have 260 employees with a fleet of around 150 trucks, 170 trailers and 90 tankers with an annual turnover of € 42 million.
